Grab this lesson's prompts and skills, ready to use.

Skill packs and prompts are provided in English so they work best with the AI tools. Use them as-is.

Pick your path. Each track below lists the MCP connectors to add (with a link), the skills to install, and the order to run them in. Everything is one click or one copy away.

Two repositories cover every download on this page: mattpocock/skills holds the workflow skills (grill-me, to-prd, to-issues, tdd) — adapted, with credit, from Matt Pocock's engineering workshop — and anthropics/skills holds Anthropic's official skills. Every MCP connector link points to the official registry at registry.modelcontextprotocol.io, where you can find each connector and its install instructions.

What you'll get: one of six career tracks chosen, with its complete recipe — MCP connectors, skills, run order, and download link — plus a ready-to-paste prompt to kick off your track's first project today.

The six tracks

Software Engineering

The full engineering pipeline: interrogate the idea, turn it into a PRD, break it into issues, build test-first, then close with a security review.

MCP connectors: GitHub · Filesystem · Git

Skills: grill-me · to-prd · to-issues · tdd

Run order: grill-me → to-prd → to-issues → tdd → security-review

UI/UX & Design

Define the brand first, generate a theme from it, then design interfaces and visual pieces that stay on-brand.

MCP connectors: Figma · Filesystem

Skills: brand-guidelines · theme-factory · frontend-design · web-artifacts-builder · canvas-design

Run order: brand-guidelines → theme-factory → frontend-design → canvas-design

Marketing

Research with live web data, turn the findings into a pitch deck, and ship the result to your team in Slack.

MCP connectors: Fetch · Notion · Slack

Skills: pptx · xlsx · slack-gif-creator · frontend-design

Run order: research (Fetch) → pptx pitch → slack-gif-creator

AI Engineer

Master the Claude API, then build your own MCP servers and your own skills.

MCP connectors: Memory · Fetch · Filesystem

Skills: claude-api · mcp-builder · skill-creator

Run order: claude-api → mcp-builder → skill-creator

5

Product Manager

The same discovery-to-backlog pipeline engineers use, ending in a co-authored document instead of code.

MCP connectors: Notion · GitHub · Slack

Skills: grill-me · to-prd · to-issues · doc-coauthoring

Run order: grill-me → to-prd → to-issues → doc-coauthoring

Downloads: Download workflow skills — mattpocock/skills · Download official skills — anthropics/skills

6

Startup Founder

From raw idea to investor-ready: a grilled concept, a one-page PRD, a pitch deck, and a financial model.

MCP connectors: Fetch · Notion · Filesystem

Skills: grill-me · to-prd · pptx (pitch deck) · xlsx (financial model)

Run order: grill-me → to-prd → pptx pitch → xlsx model

Downloads: Download workflow skills — mattpocock/skills · Download official skills — anthropics/skills

Kick off your first project

Every track starts the same way: install the first skill in its run order and hand Claude one small, concrete idea. Here's what the kickoff looks like on the Software Engineering track — swap the bracketed idea for your own track's project:

Example prompt

I just installed the grill-me skill from mattpocock/skills. My idea: [a simple web tool that tracks my freelance invoices and flags the overdue ones]. Run grill-me on it — interrogate me one question at a time until we reach a shared design concept we both agree on, then summarize that concept so I can run to-prd next.

10-minute practice. Pick your track — if you're torn between two, go with the one that looks most like your work this week. Open its download link, install the first skill in its run order, and ask Claude to confirm it can see it. Track chosen + first skill installed: that's all you need today.
